Match Report Press Report

Avenue 3 Lost to Five Rivers II in a one-sided match.

With the away team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, Home advantage looked to be needed to take the win. The stats turned out to be correct, with a fine Away win.

On paper, the number 2 string should have been the closest, with only 87 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, Peter Hardingham, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 4 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 77 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Ian McAdams.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 4 string, Ian McAdams, gaining 100 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 5 string, Richard Ramsay, who over-turned a 540 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
