Match Report Press Report

Avenue Vets 3 Lost to Totton Vets 2 in a close match.

With the away team having higher Gradings in 2 of the strings, Home advantage looked to be needed to take the win. The stats turned out to be correct, with a fine Away win.

On paper, the number 2 string should have been the closest, with only 17 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, Shane Pletts, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 2 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 53 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Shane Pletts.

Player of the match must be the Away number 1 string, Bill Williams, who over-turned a 65 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
