Match Report Press Report

S/Ton University 3 Lost to Five Rivers II in a one-sided match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 4 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

On paper, the number 4 string should have been the closest, with only 38 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, Dave Turton, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 2 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 71 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Mark Potts.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 5 string, Ian McAdams, gaining 100 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 5 string, Ian McAdams, who over-turned a 574 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
