Match Report Press Report

Trojans 3 Lost to Lee-on-Solent 3 in a close match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

On paper, the number 2 string should have been the closest, with only 93 ranking points separating the two players before the match. Home advantage prevailed though, with Ian Jarvis winning through.

It was the number 2 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 56 Points ! Victory finally going to the Home Player, Ian Jarvis.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 1 string, Chris Horne, gaining 70 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 1 string, Chris Horne, who over-turned a 237 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
